Your eyes see only bright shadows and darkened light vibrating and coalescing to resemble the memories of your other two lives, but your ears can see the glittering lake on the side of the hill of which you lay at its foot. The iridescent blotches of reflecting shadow are a perfect flaw to contrast and accommodate the cleaved land and sky.
